The Winifred Holtby English Department earned national acclaim this week when they revealed their Year 8 GCSE results. Yes that’s right Year 8! Last year our colleague Michelle Kermeen recognised that she had an exceptional Year 7 group and decided to enter them for the legacy English GCSE in November of Year 8.
